Fast becoming the go to facial treatments for fast anti-ageing and more hydrated skin, these amazing skin boosters are a combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids to boost the skins natural functions. We work with Profhilo, Sunekos and Jalupro, which are the best on the market.

what are skin boosters?
No matter your skin type, age, gender or current treatment plan, skin boosters can help refresh your look. It naturally integrates into the skin to noticeably improve skin smoothness, elasticity and appearance in the face (lower cheek/jawline), lips, neck, décolleté, and back of the hands. They can also be used to reduce the appearance of acne scarring/pitting.

The treatment involves making a number of micro-injections into the skin of the target area with a tiny needle. Skin Boosters contain a unique form of stabilized hyaluronic acid (HA) to plump and hydrate the skin. Unlike hyaluronic acid that is found in your skincare, Profhilo, for example, uses stabilized HA that is cross-linked to still resemble natural HA – but lasts for months instead of days.

The results from Skin Boosters have been proven to last up to 6 months.

How are they different from other
dermal filler treatments?

The Skin Booster treatment is not intended to fill lines and wrinkles. Instead, it is to hydrate the skin and promote formation of new collagen and elastin in the long term. Patients notice a more dewy and firmer appearance to the skin and more of a ‘glow’ as a result.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, they are not injected beneath the skin to volumize or accentuate certain features of the face, instead they are injected directly into the dermis to hydrate and improve overall skin quality.

The Skin Booster’s stabilized HA is very fluid, so the final result is smooth and subtle resulting in a healthy, plump and glowing complexion. It is recommended to do 3 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart following with maintenance treatments every 4-6 months.

Does the treatment hurt?
As an injectable treatment, there may be some degree of discomfort that is felt as a result. This will only occur while the treatment is in progress and a very fine needle is used to keep this sensation to a minimum. We will offer the option of applying a numbing cream to the treatment site prior to procedure, helping to alleviate any sensitivity or tenderness.
